Our 3rd Annual Women in Business Conference.
Following the success of our first two conferences, we were proud to present our 3rd Annual Women in Business Conference this year. The event consisted of three inspirational speakers in the morning, a networking lunch and then a series of workshops for delegates to choose from in the afternoon.
New for 2019: This year's conference saw the introduction of an 'Author Interview'section, with a panel of locally and nationally acclaimed women authors interviewed by BBC journalist, TV and radio presenter Joanna Tidman, who had also agreed to be our MC for the third consecutive year. A book stand was also available for delegates to visit and purchase books written by our panel and other local, women authors.
There were plenty of opportunities for networking, with a welcome drinks reception on arrival, mid-morning refreshments, hot and cold buffet lunch and then closing drinks with the speakers and workshop hosts at the end of the day. All delegates received a free souvenir gift on arrival and a complimentary conference programme with details of the speakers, workshop hosts and the running order.

Joanna Tidman BBC journalist, TV and radio presenter interviewed our panel of authors and we gained an insight into their writing processes, ideas generation and writing styles. There was also an opportunity to ask the authors questions.
