Reviewing Your Year and Starting Afresh

Here at Socially Shared Business Support, we love to help our members and visitors grow and develop their businesses. Over the last twelve months, we have covered a wide variety of topics which have helped women across a range of industries to learn as they network.

Subjects including Interesting Introductions, Social Media Tools, 12 Steps to Marketing Success, Blogging, How to Create a Marketing Video That Works, Time Management, and so much more have been at the centre of our philosophy to develop our skills while making valuable connections.

We have a host of exciting sessions scheduled for next year as well as our empowering Women in Business Conference on the 16th May 2018.

However, before we can look to the future, it can be advantageous to reflect on the past. By answering the following questions, you are better able to set yourself goals that are in alignment with the new beginnings that inevitably come with a New Year.

  1. What was your biggest achievement this year?

  2. Was there something you wished you’d done but didn’t manage it?

  3. What can you do to ensure all your targets are met next year?

  4. What would you like to learn next year?

  5. What area of your business would you like to improve?

  6. What job/tasks have you found the most rewarding this year?

Our businesses are important to us, and hopefully, by answering the above questions, you have a few ideas for the goals you wish to set in 2018.

Of course, we shouldn’t dedicate all of our time to working on, or in, our businesses. It’s equally important to look after your mental, emotional, and personal growth too.

With this in mind, we are delighted to launch our new Just About You development days. The first event is on January 17th, 2018; a day dedicated to self-development with three incredible hosts:

Image Consultant, Sara Gray - www.sarahgrayimage.co.uk

A personal stylist and image consultant working with people to build their inner confidence and outer style. With almost 12 years’ experience working with men and women alike, Sarah works with a true belief that lost confidence can be regained by revising our appearance and how we dress. In addition to your wardrobe, Sarah can also advise on colours to wear, provide make-up lessons and prescribe which styles of clothing suit you and your shape.

Wellbeing Expert, Andrea Bayles - www.naturalsol.co.uk

A nutritional therapist and natural health practitioner specialising as a herbalist and metabolic balance coach. With more than 10 years’ experience working in the health and wellbeing industry, Andrea is passionate about supporting people to change their attitude and approach to nutrition, health and wellbeing, through bespoke 1 - 1 coaching and employee wellbeing and engagement programmes at a corporate level.

Mindset Coach, Stephanie Rix – www.lifesworkconsulting.com

A career coach and professional development consultant committed to unlocking women’s potential. With a career spanning over 15 years with global beauty brands L’Oréal and Avon, Stephanie believes in creating commercial success through the power of people and has worked with some of the most talented and inspiring women in business from around the world.

WHY SHOULD I GO?

Our lives are hectic, and it’s essential to take time out from being a woman in business, mother, wife, carer, partner, taxi, and pot washer and allow ourselves a little me time. Investing in yourself is proven to boost your confidence and improve your mental health, mindset, and motivation.

Leave the shop talk at work and enjoy a day dedicated to YOU.
